Avery West grew up in The Bronx, New York. He started his online career in 2013 under an unknown handle, creating gaming videos on the platform and videos of himself reacting to stuff. He was a child in these videos. These videos continued for years, until he deleted the channel and abandoned it. He says he no longer has these videos saved. He also has created multiple TikTok accounts over time which the handles of which are unknown. He says these were accounts were he used to prank people in real life, but none of them were successful.
On August 19, 2022, West created his first main Twitch account under the handle averywest0. He played Grand Theft Auto V on his first stream. He continued to play a variety of games, though these streams never were known to perform well.
In October 2022, West was banned on the Twitch platform permanently according to his Twitter/X account. He did not say why, but he disabled all his social media accounts at this time, most likely because he was considering ending his social media career at this time.
